It's almost the end of November and I'm supposed to have all my cards done and ready to be addressed, but I got behind, so this set is for October.
The cs base is a heavy shimmery silver. I used the new folded Christmas tree, adding Stickles, a gold star, and a trunk that I sponged and drew lines on with a black pen. The sentiment is embossed with green ep. I put half the card through an ef.
The folded Christmas tree is super easy and fun to make.

Lovely VaL. I haven't finished my Oct cards yet either and am planning to use that folded tree pattern. Got the trees made, just have to get them on a card!

This is a beautiful card, and I absolutely love the sentiment. Now I really want to try that folded tree technique! I really like the way you embossed just one side, and that shimmery paper is gorgeous! Very pretty Christmas card.

Beautifully done, Val. I bet it really shimmers in real life. I am furiourly creating Christmas cards over the next week. I have about 50 done thus far but I have all my envelopes addressed, so I may get things out on time this year.
