Joan gave such an interesting challenge, I had to try it! She asked us to add heat embossing to a die cut. I had never tried that before. I am a little late getting to the gallery, and I didn't do a whole lot of it, but I did heat emboss in the two lower corners. I was hoping it would look like flowers. Oh, and I added Glossy accents to the windows.
I had fun making this card between all the loads of laundry today! My sweet granddaughter, Madilyn is back home in California (sniff, sniff) , but she was such a delight while she was here!
The stamps are Magnolia from the Pet Animal series. Edwin has his lizard, there is a jungle sign and Safari Jeep.
I embossed two strips to look a little like tire tracks, but ran out of room so one is pretty well covered up! More embossing on the oval under Edwin and then the heat embossing on the die cuts in the lower corners. I did some distressing and used LOTS of dimensionals.
Joan, thank you so much!!! I LOVE learning new techniques! Thank you for taking a peek too!
