Today's CAS color challenge was to use plum, lavendar, tan, and gray; and the Technique Lovers' challenge was to emboss the edges of your card. I combined them in my card. I will admit my tan turned out to be a little darker than I had anticipated, but I hope it passes inspection. I masked the center of my card and dabbed Creamy Caramel pigment ink around the edges and then clear embossed. Then I used the negative of a Labels 13 die-cut and sponged in the other three colors before stamping with the silhouette. I confess I don't know which sets the sentiments are from -- I have separated my sentiment stamps into categories.

I just love your beautiful sponged colors, Lois! Very soft and feminine; nice touch to use the negative of the die too! The sentiment is from SU Birthday Whimsy.
