Trish chose Gabby(gabalot) to be our Queen for the coming week. Gabby not only has a FABULOUS gallery, but is a stamper who takes the time and effort to leave wonderful comments on so many other's cards.
This CARD of hers inspired me with its Tim Holtz image. I don't know if anyone else is guilty of this...but I HAD to have this die when I had a hot little discount coupon in my hand...bought it....and never did one thing with it. There it sat...until I saw Gabby's card. I changed her lovely falling leaves scene into one with snowflakes. When it is snowing hard, sometimes I walk with an umbrella...so it isn't too far-fetched. : )
A BIG BIG CONGRATS, Gabby. You SO deserve the crown and the honor. Hugs, Sallie

Sallie, this card is just awesome! I love the snowflakes and the sentiment is so appropriate! What a great die cut! I'm glad you finally got to use it!

Don't you just hate when you love something and then get it home and it just lays there! lol
I think we are all guilty of that.
I love your walking in a winter wonderland.

Beautiful! Lovely embossed and sponged background. I love how you've turned Gabby's fall card into a winter one; even the sentiment tells the story of your card.

Sallie, a lovely card to honor the Queen this week!! I love that die and haven't seen it before. I too have hundreds, if not thousands of things I "had" to have and have not used - so join the club. But collecting these absolutely necessary items is a big part of the fun, and I figure oh well it keeps me out of the bars....

I could fill a room with stuff I bought like that.....lol. I have to honestly say I never particularly cared for this image.....but I love Gabby's card and yours....you both found perfect use for it.

...sure its got a catchy beat, but can you stamp to it?
