Treasure Hunt ornament View 2

These were a direct case from this blog (not my own!) : http://craftsnob.com/2011/11/treasure-hunt-ornament/

I loved the idea and thought my nieces & nephews would have fun with it. The little sticky note just covers their name, as I put alphabet letter beads in each one to spell out their name. (Should also prevent arguments over whose is whose in future years. Teehee! )
I bought large plastic ornaments, hoping they will stand up better to lots of shaking by small hands than glass.
I was unable to find nice styrofoam beads, but at my local Ms found bags of poly-fill pellets. They seem to work well, though they do make the ornament quite heavy & necessitate gluing on the cap so the ornament doesn't come apart when hanging on the tree.
The lists were just typed on the computer and printed onto light cardstock. Although the one in the pic is red, I also did some in green.
I did laminate the cards in hopes that it will help them to last for years.
I do wish I had taken a picture before I assembled them, as it was hard to get a picture of the ornament and the list at the same time.
