I didn't get a chance to play along yesterday with my mom here visiting and a full day of school, swimming etc to get through with the kids....did get to watch some of Season 1 Downton Abbey with my mom though
Anyway, I wanted to try out the folded tree using Beate's awesome and simple tutorial Folded Christmas Tree Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers and when I saw today's color challenge colors (which of course I got wrong using Olive instead of Gumball Green) I knew I could combine the two. I used a piece of Pear Pizzazz dp for my tree and sponged some Olive on the edges before adding the rhinestone garland. I masked an oval, stamped my snowflakes in Versamark, embossed in clear and then sponged the Tempting Turquoise. The sentiment was inked in Pear and then I used an Olive Marker on the dots. My layered snowflake has a paper button center in Turquoise with some Baker's Twine for an accent.

LOVE your card with the folded tree with it's jewels. Love how you layered it on top of your mask and then popped in the snowflake. Makes for a delightful little scene.
