When we last left Nelson, he was fuming because Norman has a new squeeze, Miss Sophia Snodgrass. Well nothing has really changed. Norman is still quite smitten with Sophia, and whether he realizes it or not, he is treading on THIN ICE with his friendship with Nelson. Nelson is feeling really slighted at this point. He has been making every effort to convince Norman that he is important too. As you can see, he has stooped to an all time low with BOOTS this week. Nelson HATES snowmen who are so high falluting they wear boots, snowmen with feet are just WRONG and this is something he and Norman always were united on, no feet. But having his best friend so totally preoccupied with this little snow hussy, he lowered himself to see if wearing boots would help.(SINCE Norman decided that if Sophia liked boots, then he would wear boots, ugh) But alas, Norman is off with Sophia once again, they went to a SNOWOPERA….and left him all alone out in the cold. Nelson has decided that ONE really and truly IS the loneliest number that you’ll ever do. Another sign of how low he can stoop is that he is actually confiding in Norman’s ridiculous birds, Cheep and Peep. They usually annoy the daylights of him, but since they all have one thing in common, it’s natural that they would commiserate. At first Cheep and Peep were quite taken up with Miss Sophia’s bird, Robin, but now they are back to missing Norman almost as much as Nelson does. Why do things always have to change?? Nelson and Norman are kindred spirits, they spend a lot of time together. They played SNOWKA on Friday nights with the good old snowboys….how could Norman just decide it was more important to take Miss Sophia to the SNOWOPERA? When Nelson asked Norman, how can you just change our plans for SNOWKA – just like that?? What is so important that you ignore your best friend? Don't you know that snowbuddy likes you as much as me??? Norman just looked back over his shoulder and said, “Nelson, there’s no business like SNOW business – I must take Sophia to the show!” And off he went……so not fair. Well he would show Norman. He was about to do a little research and see what kind of dirt he could dig up on Miss Sophia – he had heard she had left quite a few snowmen in her wake. A regular snowman EATER. Stay tuned as Nelson stoops to new lows to get his best friend back……With a little help from Cheep and Peep, he would make a master plan to get him back………Remember, Nelson is a fighter, not a lover – and fight he will if that’s what it takes. All is fair in love and war……….

I was going to just say OMG! great card, especially with all the fussy cutting. Then I noticed the blue bird was also fussy cut. So now the comment is WOW OMG! You have way more patience that I do. But the final product is totally amazing. Great card.

What A Card! OH MY!! This little scene is so darn cute and radiant with color. If one didn't like snowmen, they surely will after seeing your card from last week and now this one!!
