I was having trouble coming up with a non-Christmas idea for the current ODBD challenge, which is Winter White. So when I saw Anne's first thumb for the inspiration challenge, that gave me my in!
A2 base. I made little ribbon roses (the way that is making a concertina, like Christmas decorations), and instead of finishing them off into individual roses I used the strips down a piece of card which was embossed with Kassie's Brocade and very lightly sponged with Antique Linen. I added Dew Drops down each strip of ribbon to pick up on the glass from the candle, and tiny pearls in the centre of each ribbon.
Verse from Scripture Series 1 was stamped and embossed in copper, cut with Spellbinders Mega Ovals and also lightly sponged with Antique Linen.
DH reckons this could work as a wedding card .

Gorgeous card, Sabrina. Love the white with just the hint of subtle color and your beautiful embossing and die cuts. Your quotation is the benediction I sang with my HS A Cappella choir...brings back lovely memories. Thanks!
