Okay, when I saw today's F4A142, I knew it was my opportunity to make my son's Christmas card. The challenge today was to use "bees" or the colors "black and yellow". I went with the black and yellow.
My son LOVES the movie "A Christmas Story", and every year we have to watch it together. It is just a fun tradition we have started after all the eating and visiting with family is over. We sit down in the evening, prop up our feet and relax while watching and chuckling over this movie. That being said, when I found this free digi on net, I had to use it. I sure hope he gets a huge chuckle out of this.
The image is colored with copics, and I tried to give it an illuminating appearance as if the "leg" lamp is on.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look - and I hope it puts a smile on your face too

We LOVE the "Christmas Story" too. I do especially since it was filmed in Cleveland(altho' they place it in Indiana).....I recognize many of the scenes...like old Higbee's DT from my childhood.
Your son will LOVE this card with the iconic image of that movie. You did a great job of coloring and giving it "light". A very special card!

Unique and wonderful. Never thought about using black and yellow before for Christmas. What a cute way to personalize a family tradition.
