This is for Color Challenge 400 - the Retro Challenge. I picked CC356 - Island Indigo, Lucky Limeade and Basic Gray. Dessert was to use something new and I used my new Cover A Card stamp in Small Paisley. I started by stamping it on Basic Gray CS with Charcoal chalk ink, and then I stamped it again on Very Vanilla. I loved the way they both looked, so ended up using both versions, one as the BG and one as a strip running across the card. Cardbase is Moonlit Fog from Gina K, another gray. Lucky Limeade edges the center strip and the focal image is where I got my Island Indigo in, both as a layer and for the shading in the flower. Yes, that's Baha Breeze behind the Island Indigo - I did really try to do a stamp-off of Island Indigo to create the paler background of the flower image, but my pad is a dry old hand-me-down from my SIL and refused to cooperate and my new one won't be here until next week. (Great excuse, right? But true!) I really think this card needs a row of three small pearls - but they won't be here until next week (along with my next batch of new firm foam pads) so here's the card as is. If I add the pearls I'll retake the picture. Thanks for looking!
