I made this page 2 yrs ago, but realized it would work well for this challenge. I first made it as a gift for our friend, and our son's mentor, pictured with him on the page. I printed and framed it and gave it to her for a gift, and also printed and framed one for our son's room. Both Ben and Danielle have muscular dystrophy, and Danielle is the most amazing mentor and individual - such a wonderful role model! She introduced our son to wheelchair basketball (those are the pictures at the top of the page) and now coaches him part of the time. When I hear this Bon Jovi song it reminds me of both of these heroes of mine! The large photos of them were taken on the same day at practice 2 yrs ago.
There are very few supplies used, just some great professional photos and SU Night & Day and Shades of Spring designer paper and corduroy buttons.

Danielle was in the Paralympics in Athens in 2004, and she was the first woman to play in the French pro men's league after that. She was ill in 2008 and then had to retire from playing. she was considered one of the world's best in the game. Paralympics is definitely Ben's goal!
