This is my second case of AudreyAnn, and I have loved visiting her gallery also and taking in all the beauty she shares. On paper, and in heart. I loved this card, and the description Audzie gave. AudreyAnn called this card “Song of my Heart”. She spoke of the peace and comfort that nature brings, just to hear the birds singing on her porch, and it made me mindful of all I have to be truly thankful for and to see the birds reminded me of how God takes care of them, and me.
I used my most well-loved image from Our Daily Bread Designs, You Will Find Refuge, and kept the rolled roses, leaves, stitching and swirly bling. This was so fun to put together, and I smiled to think of the peace that creating brings. Thank you AudreyAnn for a very good day! Hugs.....
I stamped leaves from SU's retired Wild Rose set over flowered designer paper, and the bird was also stamped over dp, and colored with Copics. This image is resting on a branch from Spellbinders. His eye has a coat of Crystal Effects, and once dry, I dotted it with White Get Pen. Awhile back I shared a tutorial on Rolled Roses, and you can view it HERE. It's not quite “pro”, but seems easy to follow. Hope you enjoy. The inside sentiment is also from ODBD and reads He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” Psalm 91:4
Thanks for looking!

OMGracious Pat, what an amazing treasure you've created - with so many beautiful details and in true Pat Smethers' style!! Your ODBD birdie is truly precious - I love that stampset too, and I've seen this little guy colored a number of ways but must say he looks most beautiful in blue. I love the leaves stamped all around behind him - it's the perfect touch Pat. And your precious blooms - only you can make flowers look so REAL!! Seriously!!
You know you've warmed my heart with your kind words and by CASEing not one but two cards today. You're the best - LYMI!!!!!!!! Hugs and blessing :)!

My, oh my! What a beauty! I too, am partial to that wonderful chickadee-he may be my favorite bird, period. Your ability to add so many elements is amazing-your stamped leaves on the top note panel, your stitching, the blue flourish on the dp-all around gorgeous and into my favs!
