Wow. You are one tough cookie!! Please be proud of yourself for coping with such a difficult disease. And don't tie your self-esteem to your altered appearance; hook it on instead to your attitude and determination and it will soar....
Hugs lori! Good for you keeping doing something you love even when its hard. And thank you for sharing your page. Journaling even the hard stuff is one of the things about scrapbooking that I appreciate. My son has a progressive neuromuscular disorder that is metabolic and experiences similar struggles. Its not easy, but like you he is a pretty determined guy and is going to do his thing no matter what! I love your page - and I hate your graves disease.

So glad you had the courage and determination to not let this disease get the best of you. I applaud your intestinal fortitude and am glad that things are headed toward the 'good' again. Your appearance may be altered but your heart is not. You are still the kind and loving person you always were and no disease can change that. Hang in there..my prayers are with you.

Thanks for sharing this with us, Lori. I have a friend who had(s) Graves and over several years of similar eye issues, it is under control and she looks close to her old self.
I was diagnosed with MS at the beginning of 2010 and although I don't "look" different, it has changed my life so much. I love what others have said here--shows there are a lot of people who have issues--many worse than mine-- and that helps keep me strong. It also helps to know you're not alone!
Your page is wonderful!

Wow! First of all, I love this page and the theme that you're getting across. Second of all, you're amazing! I love that you can digi-scrap. It's these wonderful hobbies of ours that help keep us sane. (I have multiple sclerosis, so I know the power of a hobby.) You've completely inspired me to do a page like this. Keep 'em coming!
