This is my card for the HYCCT1231 A Walk in the Woods Challenge. We were supposed to make a card that was inspired by the outdoors. One of my favorite outdoor places is the beach. Tried out a new set of alcohol markers. I need a lot more practice before I can make coloring look as good as so many of the images I see here! But they were fun to play with.
Can't believe that this is the last challenge. Thanks for another fantastic October of card making!

What a wonderful looking ef! It's perfect for your sweet beach image. She looks so absorbed with her play - just like I did with my brother and sister. We lived so near the sea and often used to go to the beach for a picnic lunch and play after school when we were small. This brings back such memories!
Great verse, too - this will be a lovely card to give and receive.
Very pretty beach scene. Perfect background paper.

My family still misses the ocean (we're now 7 years in the midwest after pretty much their lifetime on the E Coast of VA)! Lovely coloring and depth with the perfect bg embossing!

Our family also loves the beach as an outdoor activity. So sad what's happened to the Atlantic this week. Have fun with your new markers and thanks for the seashore card.
