This is my card for this weekÂ’s color challenge #399. Karen is our hostess and she chose cherry cobbler, old olive and either white or vanilla. For dessert we could use silver or pearls.
These colors definitely said Christmas to me but we will see what the players bring to the gallery.
Chose my card layout, which is this weekÂ’s sweet stop sketch #182. Then I looked for papers to fit the layout.
I found in my stash some Basic Grey designer paper from the “fruitcake” collection. It had all the challenge colors I needed.
My circle is cut from the MFT “dizzy doily” die in cherry cobbler. The mittens are a Spellbinders die also cut from cherry cobbler cardstock. I love the deep embossing on these. I used some cherry cobbler seam binding with a silver pearl center.
My sentiment is an element sticker from the Echo Park “very merry Christmas” pack. That’s my sample for this week.
