I know, I know....I'm pushin' the CAS envelope here for the HYCCT challenge for today, but I had this piece with the embedded butterflies already put together, I'd seen this pretty CAS card CAS161 Birthday Blues by nines at Splitcoaststampers in Janine's gallery (featured stamper nines), and I thought the sentiment went perfectly with the sketch...so I went with it.
I had die cut a bunch of Whisper White butterflies which I adhered to a piece of Island Indigo and embossed with the Square Lattice ef. I cut this into 4 pieces and adhered to a Whisper White base. I stamped my sentiment on white then cut the oval and sponged the edges in Indigo. I popped the sentiment with dimensionals.
* I loved the color combo on Janine's card but switched to blue on white
*I loved the texture so I went with the embedded embossing
*I loved the depth of Janine's layered oval so I both sponged the edges and popped my oval

Beautiful. And yeah, it's not PURELY CAS, but I think the fact that you used stash balances that out. Plus, the Cancer Center gets an extra card, so it's a WIN! Thanks for playing!
One of the best sentiments I have seen. So glad one of my cards inspired you to make your wonderful card. Also glad it will be received by one of those in need of inspiration.
