Hi friends and this is my card for one of the 2012 November Creative Crew Challenges! Our challenge is the Catalog Focus and it's all about glitz and glam; glitter, shimmer paints, Smooch Spritz, shimmer paper, shimmery white card stock and even glimmer brads.
I have a publication in CARDS Magazine this month that's very similar to this card (check it out!) that's all glam so I used that as my inspiration for this card.
This card was very easy to make with some die-cutting and masking. Since the Big Shot die can cut through 7 pieces of paper, it's very easy to mass produce and very clean and simple.
I die-cut my letters with red glimmer card stock, adhered the M and Y to the card first and then put the R in the middle. For the E and R, I staggered them onto the card using Mini Glue Dots for dimension. I used Greetings of the Season for my stamp set in Gumball Green masking out the "Merry" part of the sentiment and centering "Christmas" under my red glimmer paper using a Stamp-a-ma-jig. My base is Shimmery White card stock.
I hope that you enjoyed this card and don't forget to play along with our challenges and be sure to check out what the rest of the Creative Crew made just for your Christmas inspiration.
