Multi-tasking here! This is another card for Bridget's Hope is the Thing challenge, and also for the current ODBD challenge. And for today's IC - I used the bracelet in the first of Stef's thumbnails.
Since Bridget is the current guest designer over at ODBD, how could I not use my most favourite ODBD bird for a feathered thing .
A2 Bazzill base embossed with TH woodgrain and sponged with Frayed Burlap. ODBD bird stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine black and embossed, then coloured with distress inks. It's popped up on foam on Lacy Circles.
For the little row of flowers at the bottom I used Faux Suede to try to replicate the textile look of the inspiration photo. The strip behind the flowers is also Faux Suede and is loosely pleated. I did switch up to orange brads for the centres, to tie in with the berries in the image.
L - Lacy Circles
E - embossing, wet and dry
A - TH Alterations embossing folder
F - four flowers, Frayed Burlap, Faux Suede

Oh my goodness, I was just on the ODBD blog admiring this set...love it, that little bird is so fat and so sweet! This is beautiful, Sabrina...love that beautiful row of flowers across the bottom too. So glad you got to play along in the challenge, thanks very much!!
