This card is for the PTI October Blog Hop Challenge. I selected photo #2 to use the designated colors for a non-traditional Christmas card.
The white bg layer was embossed with Stripes impression plate and popped up on foam adhesive. A 2" circle was punched out of white cardstock and the wreath was then stamped with Aqua Mist. For the Christmas balls, I swiped each of the other colors onto white cardstock and then punched them with a 1/4" and 1/8" punch. Each circle was then dry embossed by hand using an embossing stylus and they were then applied to the wreath with dimensional adhesive or a glue pen. I also added liquid pearls with the Viva Pearl Pen. This was definitely a challenge for me since I tend to gravitate to the traditional Christmas colors - but it was a fun challenge!
I realize this also fits the Ways To Use It Challenge - Embossing!
Thanks for looking. I hope this card helps to inspire you to create a card.
