Libby (stampinlibby) challenged us to make a card using the kissing technique. I haven't had much luck with this technique in the past, but it worked a little better this time. I used an all-over small flower background stamp. However, I am just not happy with the colors on this card. They seem a little garish to me. The cs is a deep pumpkin color, the die cut is cream. The More Mustard for the rose came out darker than I expected, and Ruby Red isn't one of my favorite colors.
Well, I'm sure it will appeal to someone, so it is what it is. I should say something positive, so I'll say that I like the way the feather stamp looks on the textured cs. Oh, and I'm happy with how I lined up the two-step rose.

Your kissing looks great to me. It's something I have mixed success with too - I think a lot of my solid stamps are quite small, so then I need a very small design to kiss them with! And I too love the look of the feather on the textured base.
