I just treated myself with this new stamp from Michaels. Had one of there coupons and some b-day money from my sweet ma-ma. when I saw this cute face I couldn't resist...I mean....look at that cuteness...lol
I named it Marty Moosemess from a stuffy I have had for years under that same name. such cute mooses.
Holstein had a super challenge today to use embossing folders. I love them. so much fun.
So I started with the dots for the distant snowflakes on the bottom layer, and then did the bigger snowflakes for under Marty. I forget the name of the specific technique, but I stamped the one side of the folder and ran it through to make the white snowflakes in the blue sky. I then stamped Marty, water colored him with the water markers, sponged the edge after running it through the die cut on my cuddlebug, added the bit of black layers to help stand him up and decided to add the little faux sewing to his border to make it stand out better too and match the other borders. I raised him up with foamies over the lace and added the gems on the corners....yep I have troubles with blank corners....lolol. Was going to try to make a card with no blingage....but ....rudolfs or Marty's nose has to be bright right ?...lol...well then so did the berries and then the happy holidays looked bland...lolol....I did have good intentions too..lol....thanks for visiting...:0)

I can see why you fell in love with Marty. He is just cute. You showcased him beautifully with the two panels of embossing. Love all your great details. Thanks for playing in the challenge.
