I had 1 day to come up with a card for a member of our Bible Class who is turning 75 tomorrow! Today I happened to get this text about a Christian being like a pumpkin (for the umpteenth time) and figured that it might be the inspiration for a cute card. I typed it on the computer in as close to a pumpkin shape as I could manage, ran it off on Gina K's Pure Luxury ivory paper and centered it on a Spellbinder's Fleur de Lis die cut. Then I created a pumpkin shaped template which I centered over the text and sponged around with SU's crushed curry. I found a dp of fall leaves and made it the background of the card. The die cut is popped up for dimension. (It really is.) I added SU crushed curry ribbon and 3 latte dew drops. I really like it. I hope Bev will like it, too. By the way, it qualifies for an old Odd Number challenge because of the 1 pumpkin, 1 ribbon and 3 dew drops. Thank you for reading this long essay and thanks for looking!!

I really love what you did with this card! In fact, I was so caught up in reading the text that I almost forgot to look at the beauty of the card itself! You've created two works of art here: the text in the shape of a pumpkin (nicely done!), and the DSP, embellished ribbon and border of your card. Thanks for sharing...this text will stay with me throughout the season!
