Arrrgh, ever have one of those days when things just don't want to work! I had 2/3 of this card already put together and thought I could easily make some kissed butterflies for my image panel....so much for easily. I thought I remembered the technique and wasted 4 attempts that way. Came back up, reviewed and tried again! Finally got it to work with my solid butterflies and the Bliss flourish. I sponged the pink while still in the die, but didn't like the look of the white around the edge. So, I masked and sponged the black along the edges....pretty smeary! To make matters worse I then added some Liquid Pearl bodies and antennae and those looked horrible so I wiped them off....more smeary! I did keep the pearls in the medallion center. I will probably go back for a redo on the image panel, but needed to get back to real life for now! My Medallion piece is pierced then backed with a Pretty in Pink distressed piece. My dp is a pif gift that was b/w "scraps" that turned out to be a big bag of card front sized pieces! My final addition was the pink organdy brad bow.

What a lovely combination of patterns, textures, and techniques! Love black and white cards.

Sorry about things not working out today with your card. My bad card day was yesterday, so yes we all have them. Regardless, your card turned out very beautiful. Love the butterflies.
