Happy Tuesday everyone. Here is my card for today's colour challenge - very vanilla, pretty in pink, primrose petals and nuetrals of choice. Desert option is lace. I don't have primrose petals ink, so I used regal rose instead. I created the background by using three different stamps from the SU - all the best set - used pretty in pink and regal rose inks. Stamped the flower with memento black and coloured with certainly celery, pretty in pink and regal rose. Masked flower and stamped on the background designs. Cut the 5 x 5 inch background square into triangles, sponged edges, placed on top of a 5 1/8" square and a 5 1/4" square of designer paper. Sewed each triangle. Cut out the flower image and layered over black square. Attached flower with four mini brads. Added diamond stickles to the flower. Used the Stamp a ma jig to place the sentiment around the card. Base card is 5 1/2" square. Finished off the inside of the card.
I am putting this into Lydia's Hope You can Cling challenges.
Lydia's HYCCT1201A - Show Me What You're Made Of
-- Well many of you know that I can not seem to make a card with out some machine sewing on it - and most of my cards are square cards and I have a very difficult time with making CAS cards... SEW - Here is my Quilt themed card and I think I used the perfect sentiment to.
I think this also works for Joan's TLC challenge, cut it up. I made the background and cut it up
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

Your quilt is wonderful, Pat!! The little flower blossom is so pretty right there in the middle.

what a wonderful creative design Pat! love that background and your stitching!!
(just a note: you can't combine the HYCCT challenges - as we are supposed to send each challenge card to MD Anderson - it's in the instuctions - didn't want you to get disqualified for anything!?)
