A Halloween card for the "littles" whom I don't want to scare This cute jack-o'-lantern is completely diecut with the exception of the green around the stem and that was designed and hand-cut by me.
I used two different PTI die sets: Shape Up Series: Pumpkin and Shape Up Series: Pumpkin Sections. I first diecut the card base using the Pumpkin die to cut above the card fold so it would fold into a pumpkin shape. Next, I diecut an orange pumpkin, and diecut the eyes, nose and mouth from it. Then I used the negative diecut from the Shape Up Series: Pumpkin Sections and placed it over the pumpkin to indicate where to emboss the sections. I used a colored pen to outline it and give it definition and then with my embossing tool, I embossed the sections. The top cap was hand drawn and hand embossed, too. I added the green handcut top, the diecut stem and a scrap piece of yellow cardstock was placed behind the cutouts and all was adhered to the pumpkin cardbase. Wow, it was so much easier to make than to write about!
Thanks for looking and I hope it helps to inspire you to make a card, too
