I've had this stamp for a while and thought it was time to color and use it. I've had it a few years and when I first starting making cards, I knew I absolutely could do it no justice with my coloring. Now, I find to easy, just time consuming.
I'm entering two challenges here on SCS. One is Understand Blue's HYCCT1201A. The challenge is to make a card that reflects your style. I think I am an eclectic stamper, but I have to choose, so I can tell you that Christmas cards and wintry cards with snowmen are my favorite to make. No snowman here but a big ol' Christmas santa.
My card is for the Queen for the Day, Claudia aka cjzim. I found this card in her wonderful gallery of super cards. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...mp;ppuser=4818 I used her sketch as there is not a lot to be done with this big Santa taking up the complete card. I had to make it 5 x 7 to do this. I left off the ribbon and button and did not use Claudia's technique, as beautiful as it was.
Claudia, I hope you're enjoying your week of royalty.

I was worried da benz fell and broke her hip. But, here you are, back with another BEAUTY. I LOVE the colors you used and the image is colored wonderfully. Somehow, I don't think Santa will be coming down my chimney since all I'll leave him to eat is fruitcake; but, I'm used to it by now. You can fly me over some of those nesties and diecuts though. I know you will take care of me. P.S. I saw in another comment you are having allergy problems. I know you get them bad this time of year. I hope you'll be better soon. Go see the doc so you don't come down with pneumonia b/f your 92nd b/day! Always caring . . .
