If my card looks a little blurry it's because that's how I saw things for the most part of the day. You see, we had our first rain storm of the season and my wiper blades decided to come apart slowly all day making the view from my truck just plain blurry. Either that or my glasses are messed up! hehe
Joan what a great challenge today for number 400! The hardest part of this challenge was cutting up your image. I mean, what if you screwed up?......my card details...
I used an unknown to me digi that I printed out on w/c paper. I had seen a really cool technique in a w/c magazine that looked easy but my version came out a little different. Oh well. I will give it another try someday.
Any way, you spritzed your w/c paper, took a paint brush dipped in say yellow, then lightly splattered it over the paper. Cleaned your brush and used another color, then another. After this you lightly spritzed again making the colors merge. Here is where I went wrong. Spritzed a tad too much, so I dabbed a paper towel over giving me the "different" results. Then you were supposed to paint in a tree trunk but since I was using a digi I just painted in the tree trunk image.
Then the hard part, cutting up my image and gluing in on to a black card. Then I thought my tree needed a little birdie so I stamped a Judith stub birdie and w/c him.
Well, hope this isn't too blurry for you. Remember, you are looking through a truck window that is being rained on while your wipers go plunk, plunk, plunk! ....TFL :0)
Hi Sis! Hi NC Sis!......up-date, I went and got new wipers and already put them on my truck. SO bring on the rain!!!

Cathy, you sooo make me laugh!! I love your blurry card and your very clear story. I think that I will try this technique...just love your scene turned out. Your cuts are beautifully done too. Glad that you got new wiper blades, stay safe.

I think your spritzing turned out beautifully! The colors on this are so vibrant and that tiny bird singing is so cute..I'd be afraid to cut this one..but you did a wonderful job!

Brilliant card even though this may not have turned out as you intended it to - your colours are wonderful, I love your layout and how you cut up your image, and the birdie in the tree was a great addition!!
