You can see I spent way more time than I should have on paper piecing flowers, but vacation is so nice just because I CAN.
We are staying in an awesome cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains in VA and Deb Horst and her DH are our wonderful host and hostess. It's called Cabin Creekwood and is SO relaxing and gorgeous here. The fall color is just plain awesome. A big surprise for me is that we landed smack in the middle of where my ancestors lived, so we are going exploring today.
OK - the card. I am living so far an scraps that I determined to use up on this vacation. I cut three strips of dp and glued it on CS. Then I stamped the Delight in Life flower enough times for three flowers that would be paper pieced. What a putz I am. I love it. So relaxing. Stuck the petals onto another stamped image, then cut out the stamped image. Sentiment is Victorine Originals.
I'm off to chase ancestors.

I wondered how you did the flowers to match the bg that is such a clever idea! I love the color combo you used as well. Will be asking you something through private messages. Love this!
