This, at long last, is my card for Judy's Monster Mash challenge.
This was enormously hard for me. I don't do Halloween (there are all of about two Halloween cards in my gallery, which is about 0.01% of my cards. And even if I did, by the time I mail mine to TX Halloween will be long gone.
Truthfully, when I first read the challenge I wanted to incorporate Embedded Embossing because if that's not mashing I don't know what is. After multiple viewings of the video - there's a little frog with a candle about about 2.15 minutes in. And I added googlie eyes too .
5" square kraft base. I made my background by sticking QuicKutz mushrooms to the green paper and embossing with SU's Square Lattice, then adding Liquid Pearls to the toadstools.
Frog was stamped, masked and then I sponged the background with Peeled Paint and Broken China. Frog is coloured with Bundled Sage and has Liquid Pearl accents. He's layered up on a red circle and then a black Lacy Circle. I punched the corners of the base layer, matted it onto black and added pearls. For the inside I used the "have I toad you lately" sentiment from Unfrogettable.
Accessories: Spellbinders circles and lacy circles, SU square lattice ef and ticket corner punch, googlie eyes, Sakura Glaze red pen, white and gold Liquid Pearls, QuickKutz mushroom die, half pearls

Embedded embossing is a great take on the challenge!
I love that froggie though - one of my favorite SU sets!
Thanks for supporting HYCCT and playing in my challenge, Sabrina!
