The one neat thing with the featured stamper is meeting new great talented ladies...:0). Marcie has such a lovely variety of pictures to see. I needed a 60th anniversary card for A Great aunt and uncle, so when I saw this card..50th anniversary by Disaster at Splitcoaststampers, I liked her pretty design so I made it inot a 60 instead of 50.
60 is diamonds...so if you know me at all...lol....awe shucks, that would be so hard for me to do...lol...no its more like....yahhhhh....I get to use sparkles..or blingage...how fun is that.
I found this cool pice of dp I got from my ma-ma, and I used tin foil for a layer underneath it to give it that silver look. sponged the 60, started it in silver old ink, but went to use black instead to show it up more and it would not stamp over it, just a touch of shadow...hm...but that worked ok I guess.
then I cut out a white strip of paper and used the flower border punch for the bottom half and stuck on the scalloped diamonds., the littel flowers were not showing up good so I put a little strip of tin foil under them to help them to stand out more. I did not have the diamond swirls so I put some sparkly ribbon and bow in the corner instead, and not sure exactly how she did that pretty ribbon bottom and dont want to stick it out too much for mailing purposes, so put some punched out flowers instead, and added alittle gem in their centers, with a tiny touch of grey to add depth, and then just a few punched out leaves...one of my fav. punches. thanks for visiting..:0)

Wendy, this is so elegant in gorgeous silver and white! Love that sparkle and how you matched up the bling edging with the punched edging - a really beautiful 60th anniversary card!
