This is for F4A139 to create a project based on one of the Hope You Can Cling To challenges going on this month. I chose to create a card for the Peaceful Pink challenge. The challenge was to create a card that evokes peace, calm, and serenity with a touch (or splash!) of pink. Here is what I came up with. I feel like this card definitely fits the challenge.
I used the Belleek brayer technique to apply ink to the embossing folder. I used what I call the color wash technique to color the rose petals. You can check out my step by step tutorial here on my blog: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...h-flowers.html

Oh my goodness Kittie, every time I look at one of your cards, the first thing out of my mouth is "Oh my GAWD!" Seriously, you make mondo blooms, so life-like gorgeous. I suppose that is the very reason your work is dear to my heart, and you shall ever remain "the" Professor!

Well done Miss Kittie - just an outstanding card. That flower surrounded by that stunning EF, just too darned beautiful for words. Of course, I loves pink so I am a touch prejudice, and it is perfect for the challenge. Lovliness plus.
