I have been making cards for HYCCT and also had just put a card rack into a local store when another local store asked me to put some cards in there too! WOW! All this to say, I've been going through my card stash to meet the needs and found a few oldies that had either faded or I wasn't excited about and I pulled them apart and remade them. This is one where the card base had faded. I took the acetate panel ( made a long time ago from an older version of this tutorial Acetate & Tissue Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers ) and re mounted it onto a Dusty Durango base. I took a leaf from some scrapbooking goodies I bought at the thrift store and sponged some craft ink on it. I retied my hemp and distressed it a bit and added my sentiment. This is for my personal stash as I have 4 October/November birthdays coming up!

What a beautiful rework! Your original work is gorgeous and the added leaf is gorgeous too and perfect for this. Congrats on the unanticipated extra business! Hugz and best wishes Gail!
