I came across these photos from 10 years ago today when I was looking for something to scrapbook for the Thursday Challenge ThursFS1004 and Sharon's last Inspiration Challenge SIC133. The Thursday Challenge was to use only two main colours, one piece of ribbon and an envelope of some type for journalling. I thought it would be fun to write a note to my son, daughter, niece and nephew in the journal space. The final Inspiration Challenge was to use stamping on a page - which I love to do!
I used MDS2 for this page, with SU The Write Stuff II digital kit, Limited Edition digital kit, full heart punch filled with polka dot Poppy Parade dap, decorative label punch, and Cheep Talk stamp brush set. Embellishments are black satin ribbon, Summer Smooches fabric buttons and a tiny pearl for the bird's eye. I also used the splatter tool.

Aw, what a sweet note. My girls have 2 cousins but one is way older and one way younger so they missed out on these type of family relationships; you're children are fortunate!

I love your pages, Terri. They usually understated, with just the right touch of embellishments. This is a great page--love the journaling idea, spatter and little bird!
