this card is made for my 'Peaceful Pink' challenge for Hope You Can Cling To. While I am going through my own battle with cancer, I have found that nature brings me such peace & calm. Even in the midst of winter, the bare trees are full of beauty. They remind me that while my hair is gone and my body is going through so many changes, spring DOES come again.....
the image is from A Day for Daisies, papers are Basic Grey Serendipity, sky was first watercolored and then sponged with SU! inks. snow on fence was painted with shimmer spray, as was the snow line among trees. button & seam tape are both vintage. seam tape was lightly sprayed with tea rose glimmer mist. chevrons accents were cut with a MFT die. rose is a Prima. after scanning this card I went back and added some rock candy distress stickles to the Prima rose for just a hint of sparkle.

Oh, Jennifer, I absolutely love, love, love this! Gorgeous scene in beautiful, peaceful colors...I'd love to be there right now - but instead I will relax, and enjoy the moment I'm in right now, as you've so beautifully put it in your challenge description - thank you for that.

OMG, I saw this card and immediately had to comment on its beauty and then I looked to see who made it - Jenn, you dog, I didn't know you were hosting one of the challenges. Good for you.
I know what a hard time you're going through and you've given so many of us lots to think about.
You're still my hero.

Jennifer, that is just so, so pretty and peaceful. We don't often get snow here, but when we do I think the silence that comes with it is amazing. Extra opportunities to watch the birds, too!!
