For Dini's HYCCT challenge we were to be inspired by a Show Tune - I was inspired by "I enjoy being a girl' from the Flower Drum Song
My Inkadinkadoo image shows two ladies living it up at the seashore - struttin' their stuff and lookin' out for each other.
I stamped my image with coffee ink and then used the Smackin' Acetate technique to color the background. I colored a piece of acetate with a Brushed Corduroy Distress Marker, spritzed the acetate with water, laid it over the image and rubbed gently! I think it made my image look like an aged photo!

YAY!! Great song choice... I suggested it to my daughter, but she's a decided tomboy, so she didn't go for it. I'm glad to see it in my gallery! Love this vintage image, and your color choices. Thank you so much for playing along with my challenge, and supporting Hope You Can Cling To!

Love-love-love that song, and your image is too perfect!

What a great technique to make this look like an authentically aged photo. Great way to respond to Dina's challenge to be inspired by a song from a movie.
