Brenda's great challenge for the CCEE Stampers this week is to use fall colours with leaves, and a punched border.
The current ODBD challenge is fall colours and a verse. I wanted to make a card with the leaves from Randi's Song, but I have a time crunch and this one will have to do double duty.
5 ¾” square base, sponged with Broken China and Peeled Paint, stamped with water splash in Tea Dye.
Main panel - sponged with Antique Linen, punched with Fiskars border punch. I stamped the text from Randi’s Song down the left side with Memories Soft Grey, then French Foliage leaves with masking - forest moss, rusty hinge, spiced marmalade, wild honey. The verse from Scripture Series 1 is stamped with Versafine Smokey Grey, the water splash with Pumice Stone. Scored and sponged score lines with Tea Dye. The main panel is popped up on foam and I added a leaf button coloured with alcohol inks. It still seemed to be missing something so I added some little dragonflies from the Symphony wheel, coloured with distress inks and Perfect Pearls.
