The Cowardly Lion shows us how any of us can become courageous in the face of fear. I bought this awesome Wizard of Oz set and used the Lion in a shadow box card. I have him sitting on the yellow brick road with the poppies all around him. The head was stamped twice and lifted on dimensionals as is his crown. The message is be strong, find your courage, fight like a girl!

This makes me smile and cry both....first of all it's incredibly beautiful, and so creatively done with the yellow brick road and the soft blue/pink sky...the Wizard of Oz was both my boys' favorite movie when they were little, I think I've seen it a zillion times...and the message of the cowardly/courageous lion is perfect for this month...simply wonderful, Kathy!

Your soft coloring is just inspiring and I'm in awe. The cowardly lion is my favorite character and so appropriate for the fight of a lifetime. Very nice. GREAT challenge.

The shadow box, coloring and adorable image all make this a wonderful card. Thanks for hosting this challenge. I'm off to look for "courage" inspiring stamps. It would be easier if I could use Scripture, but I'll find something.

These cowardly lions are so cute. It appears they need some encouragement too.
