I loved making this card. Would have loved it more if I'd made it during the day and not attempted it at night. I won't go into the gory details, but you wouldn't believe how much poor CS I butchered in the process. The woven background is yesterday's Try a New Technique challenge in which Keri teaches how to weave paper, something I had never done before. The dp is Basic Grey Sugar Rush 6x6 paper pad, CS is all SU, the tag is chipboard cut from a cereal box. A few brads, some seam binding (and a lot of angst), and voila, a card is born. No centerpiece as I didn't want to cover up all the weaving. And of course, once it was all said and done this morning, I can see things I should have done and not done. Truly a "challenge-d" card. TFL!!

Shea, I think your card is wonderful and imparts a "warm & cozy" feeling with your quilt-like central woven panel. Love the colors you chose too. Any friend would be thrilled to receive this card!

This was worth the effort. I can so relate to the sacrifice of much paper and cardstock for one seeming simple design. The BG paper was one of my favourite collections too, with those fun, uplifting colours.
