I have the great honour of being Guest Designer at One Crazy Stamper http://www.onecrazystampercom.blogspot.ca/ for the month of October. Their challenge this month is to use acetate on your card. The embossing folder is Juli's Garden with some of the petals cut out. The acetate is fastened behind then the back of the petals are smeared with Aleene's tacky and two colours of Glitter Ritz added. Be sure to let dry over night. The Kanzashi flower is made with a plastic template from Clover..all you have to do is follow the numbers! An orphan ear ring is used for the centre and sulky thread is tied behind. The garden branch is from Marianne Designs sponged with bundled sage ink. I stamped the greeting in Tim Holtz distress on a long strip of cardstock then folded it in a 'z' shape to form the banner.

Great inovation and an inspiring and unusual use of acetate! No wonder you have been asked to be a guest designer. Congratualtions. This is a wonderful card with many creative design elements. I especially like how you did your banner sentiment!
