Created for a friend working hard on losing weight. I wanted to send her a show of support.
Easel card made with Spellbinders and stamps. Finally found a use for the Diamond Mesh I bought on a whim at Scrapbook Expo. Never could get it to work in Cuttlebug, but it cuts easy with scissors. These colors are a couple of my friends favorites, so I really wanted to stay in this color theme.
The dress stamp is on a patterned paper probably not showing well in this photo as it is subtle, but after various tries to color in the stamp or glitter it I settled on a simple paper pattern that complimented the turquoise. The little flower at the waistline I colored in with a gel pen and added a rhinestone in the center. This dress stamp comes with a hanger, but the full stamp wouldn’t really fit on this size so I cut that part out and added the hanger embellishment I won at a workshop. Stamped the sayings and highlighted “you” with two little rhinestones. Also cut small strips of the diamond mesh to enhance the corners of the card.
Thanks for looking.
