I made this card for this week's Sketch Challenge and the Ways to Use It Challenge (using a tag). This card is a bit outside of my usual style, but I loved using these colors and this patterned paper. This week was my grandmother's birthday (she passed away last year) and this card is very much her style. So in honor of my Grammy, I made a card that reminds me of her.
I love using mulberry paper. I don't see it used often anymore, but I love the texture it provides and use it when I can. However, I must warn you that if you're tearing black mulberry paper at 2:00 a.m. for your card, there's a good chance your sleepy eyes will see a scrap of it and think a big, hairy spider has made its way onto your craft desk. Don't ask me how I know this...
The products I used are listed below. If you would like more details, please visit my blog:

I love black and white cards with a touch of red.....very elegant looking. It wouldn't have to be that late at night for me to think some torn mulberry was a spider....I think I live with the hee bee jee bees. Sweet card.
