This is for Donna's challenge, to use clay, cork or canvas. Since I had just recently bought a pack of air-dry clay, it was great to have the push to actually use it .
A2 white base. The wall is TH, inked with Weathered Wood, and matted on black. I used a scrap of faux wood with a die-namics jumbo scallops die for a shelf to sit the vase on, adding some piercing. The vase is scrap paper and a Woodware punch. The flowers and leaf are clay, sponged with inks and then sprayed with fixative. I also added some rub-on lustre to the leaf which helped bring out the veins (it's a little self-stamping thing I used to use for wedding cake decorations). Pearls for the centres of the flowers, and that's it.

Fabulous clay petals in your card design. I would never have thought to use clay but I think it is a great idea and looks so real.
