Amazing Grace is one of my favorite hymns. Chris Tomlin has a wonderful version of it that I love listening to. This is an ODBD stamp that hadn't seen ink until today. As you can tell, I distressed the image with Tim Holtz Antique Linen and Tea Dye inks. I torn the upper left corners and tried to make them look like they survived a fire. I rolled the edges of the upper right corner.
Now, here is my question. What embellishments would you put on this card? I kept staring at it last night and couldn't figure out what to use. Any suggestions?????

I love how you've distressed this!! I think this looks nice without any embellishments. If I were going to use anything, I would use something antique like. It's done so nicely though, and sometimes embellishments can steal the show.

Beautiful!! Great job with the distressing!! As for embellishments, maybe just some royal blue or burgundy ribbon tied around the fold, that makes it look like a page marker!

Couldn't pass this one up when I saw it Kookzi. This is an "AMAZING" card if I may say so. Great distressing and love you used the musical scoring for the song. Hope all is well my "punchie" punchie!

Gorgeously distressed, I LOVE your card with the classic standard, "Amazing Grace" stamped on the front! It makes me wonder how many times my Mom has sung that very song! I know this card will be very special to her! Thank you so much for sharing, it is beautiful!

Leave it just like this! Wonderfully done Lesley - love the distressing and that is a wonderful, wonderful song. I sing it a lot as it is one of the only songs I know all the way through and it is sermon in itself. Hugz! Amazing ones!

Lesley, a lovely card for Dorothea. What Christian doesn't love the hymn, "Amazing Grace"??!! A terrific idea for a card for someone whose religion means a lot to them.

What a beautiful card! I love the distressed edges! I like the ribbon in the fold idea! Hey, did you know that this week's ODBD Shining the Light Challenge is about music?
