Theresa's HYCCT challenge is Read All About It - to use text on our cards. My original plan was just to use a book page for the tree, but I went to town a bit, and also used a discarded text background which gave me a good evening sky, and used a script folder for adding texture to my tree .
A2 base. It's En Francais and probably homemade glimmer mist spritzed over it, edges sponged with Walnut Stain. The tree is from a Russian book, sponged with Frayed Burlap and embossed with Forest Branches. The little owl is from a Hero Arts set, sentiment is also HA.

I love it when a leftover scrap finds a great home on another project, and your blue background was a perfect fit for this challenge. Sometimes you just gotta go to town. Love the way you combined three (!) different text-ural features on your card. Cute owl too!
Thanks for participating in my HYCCT challenge, I really appreciate the effort and so will many others who will be touched by your gift of cardmaking for this cause.

Lots of text in this card, love the owl peaking out of the knot in the tree. Sweet!
