Here is a picture of all the bag a lopes I did for the 4 kids for valentines day, some of them are colored and put together to show the kids what they look like, the rest are just stamped and scored and ready to be colored! Used regular size envelopes for these.

Seal closed an envelope. Trim about 1/4" off of one of the short ends. Score the three still-closed sides at about 1/2 " to 3/4" from each edge. ( this measurement is flexible as long as you do the same measurement on all three sides). Now fold the scored edges. stick your hand in and push the middle bottom (short side) up until it's flat and work your way out to flatten the rest of the bottom out to the little "ears" that form. Sharpen the side folds pushing the middle crease inward (like a milk carton). Now glue the little ears flat to the bottom of the bag ( I use mini glue dots to hold good or use a small sticky label all the way across the bottom to hold both ends closed ). I stamp on mine after scoring but before folding. For the top you can close it any number of ways, I just folded my flaps over 2 times and stapled them closed. Hope this helps.
