Today was the day that my once a month group got together and we had decided to go back to how it originally stated which was to make Cricut projects and to play with any new cartridges we had picked up. I made 2 cards (one a CAS card) and the other more detailed and then decorated a gift bag as we always take the person who hosts the get together a Hostess gift. I used only Cricut elements except on the gift bag where I used a Cheery Lynn die for the butterfly trail. I found it difficult as I wanted to just go use a die for this or that (no trying to figure out what size to cut it in) but I was please with the results in the end.
My new find is this WONDERFUL craft and black paper stack at Michaels called Timeless by Recollections. It has 10 different prints and you get 6 of each sheet. I made all three projects using these papers. LOVE them!!
Blessings form the Cindy Lou cartridge
Flowers from Flower Shoppe (LOVE this cartridge) even the center part is from there. Parts of the flower I ran through the SU Square Lattice EF and part through Swiss Dot EF. There is a third layer of patterned paper for the petals on the bottom that you canÂ’t really see in this picture.
Black velvet ribbon
Scalloped Edge from Elegant Edges cartridge and I ran it through the SU Square Lattice EF but you canÂ’t tell in this picture.
Black brilliants on Blessings (dotting the i) and at the beginning of the B and in the scallop at the bottom

Thud....blessing, indeed! Peggy, I love these papers, right along with you. What warmth comes from these pages. Wonderful design. Hugs....
