Using a new set from Inspired by Stamping called Halloween Labels and a set already in the store called Delicate Doilies II, I decorated penny-candy kraft bags that came from an honest-to-goodness old fashioned mom and pop store. My friend's DH's grandparents owned a little deli, and they had penny candy for sale as well. There were crates of these adorable little bags in their cellar, and my friend gave me a whole bunch.
I stamped white doilies on them, made little labels that hang over a clothespin, and a doily with old German book page tops each one.
Stamps: Delicate Doilies II, Halloween Labels - Inspired By Stamping
Paper: Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Whisper White - SU; vintage German book page (thank you, Maria!)
Ink: Whisper White - SU; Versafine Onyx Black - Tsukineko

OMGoodness - these are THE COOLEST!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't pinpoint exactly which element I love so much, because every detail is to perfection and unexpected. Who'd have ever thought to put such delicate diecuts and doilies with the words Toxic Tonic LOL!!!!!!!!!!! Very very cool - love these Colleen.

These are wonderful! I love the images - magical, but the way you hung them and framed them and sparkled them up is awesome. How fun to be using special bags with a special story - new life for something forgotten - WOW. Don't you know those little bags were sad and lonely in that dark basement and now they are all dressed up and on center stage - so fun! TFS. Hugz!!!
