A blue gingham sky..LOVE IT! Your paper piecing is magical on this narrow country scene. Your choice of the green and rustic orange (?) against the kraft really show off your little farmhouse. What a fun and fabulous card Sallie!
I couldn't think of the right word for your card, but yes homespun fits. Great image for a thank you card.

Sallie, that is simply lovely. It reminds me of a needlepoint design I once made, only yours is a bit more sophisticated looking with that lovely house. I really love the pieced hills and all those great earth tones.
