110....wow I just cant even begin to imagine it. Hubby adn I just sat and talked a few about it and all the changes in the lifetime and all the new things...wow.
So I wanted to create something cute for her and something super fun at birthday times. When I saw this little wee one I thought it was quite perfect. It is not a big balloon or cake but a special little flower and a "note " of love. I can't get to PA, so this wee one is taking it to Eula.
One of my fav. things I love to get at birthday times is a note from a loved one, especailly when most of my family is far away. and I think too there is nothing more sweet when a wee one brings you a " special picked " flower even if its a dandy lion or lilac or weed, or like the other day when my 3 year old neighbor little girl was looking at the grass and picked just ONE special blade and gave one to me, and one for Uncle..:0).
sorry enough story....I water colored her with the water pen and inks and punched her out and sponged the edges and then set her over the bordercut strip with the touch of yellow ribbon. Added some pretty flowers in the corners and then a touch of glitter to match the touch of yellow on the ribbon and flower. Added some extra love with the little hearts and set on the sentiment which I just cut out with scissors. Was feeling the bright cheery pinks and polka dots today so I am hoping Eula likes pink..:0)
Thanks for visiting...:0)

Oh my goodness...one little blade of grass? How sweet and so very touching....I love it...reminds me when you come up on some little iwee one in the line at the grocery store sitting in the cart ahead of you....and they are intently munching on their slobbery half eaten cookie.....and when you make eye contact and smile, they generously take the cookie out of their mouth, reach out and offer........Want some???
Ha! I love this....very sweet, lovely, and just perfect for Eula on her 110th! Next year, won't we have fun with 111....We can have triple the fun with triple ones!!

Lil Sistah, your story is precious! One blade of grass, delivered with love! Priceless! Kinda like this sweet lil gal card. Eula will be so tickled to hold this sweet card, complete with Canadian blingage! Love it. Lymi, hugs...

I think flowers are perfect for a birthday! One year I gave my mother flowers once a month with an extra special arrangement on her birthday to start off with. It turned out a rather expensive present in the end, LOL, but spread out like that it was ok and she loved it. I bet Eula will love this too, especially with all the sparkle and pearls.

When my son was three, he picked the blossoms off our neighbor's prize tulips. I loved the thought, but what was I to do?????????? A gift of a blade of grass can be special too. Your card for Eula is wonderful!
