This card is for a challenge that Nancy gave me when we were downloading an image from Mo Manning together the other night on the phone.
I told her I would probably be doing it around 2 AM, and I was right!! A busy weekend, and of course I waited till today, thinking I would have time.
I knew which the sentiment I would be using (been hoarding it forever), the rest of the idea was a bit vague, but I wanted to use some symbols of His life - sandpaper for the ground, stars for the night, and burlap because He was poor. I ended up adding some mesh ribbon that is almost coppery looking, with some blue ribbon on top to match the night sky. I still struggle with copics, trying to learn from watching videos, and getting tips from friends!
Just a simple card - thanks for looking - I ran out of steam, Nancy!

Sue, your coloring is awesome! You made this sooo special putting in things from Christ's life, brought a tear to my eye - what heart and thought you put into this. Now wouldn't that be a challenge - use an image representing Christ and use things that symbolizes His life - dare we suggest it for the CA-AL challenge (now that Pat has finished her card....LOL). How funny that you predicted you would be doing this at 2:00AM and you were close. Love it! You need to use our keywords - SWNWAL1. Wonderful kjob my friend - this is full of heart and soul ... WOW! Hugz.

Don't know how I missed this - just sweetnes plus sister.....and with such meaning in each layer of love as you pieced this together. Mo's images just touch the heart and you have colored it to perfection. Remind me not to shop on line with you if were talking, I could do some serious damage, tee hee. Hugs.
